About Kaylee



Hi, I’m Kaylee — an illustrator and SFX makeup artist with over 20 years of experience telling stories through art.

My work spans film, television and theatre, across a range of projects — from high-end productions, including creature effects and prosthetics on films like Harry Potter, to casualty and burns makeup for fire service training.

I’ve always been drawn to faces, storytelling, and transformation. Growing up around film and theatre shaped how I see things, and that still feeds into my work now — whether I’m working with pencil and paint or creating something more physical through makeup and effects.

My style leans towards work that feels real, raw, and full of character. I’m more interested in honesty and detail than something overly polished — I like things to feel human.

Alongside my work in makeup, I also take on illustration commissions — from portraits to custom pieces. I really enjoy working closely with people to create something personal that actually feels like them.
